PG in MD, MS (Ayurveda) Dravyaguna

MD (Ayurveda – Dravyaguna) is a 3-year postgraduate program that focuses on the detailed study of Ayurvedic pharmacology, particularly the properties, actions, and therapeutic uses of medicinal plants and herbal drugs. The course integrates classical Ayurvedic principles with modern scientific approaches such as pharmacognosy, pharmacology, and analytical techniques. Students gain in-depth knowledge of drug identification, classification, formulation, quality control, and safe clinical application of herbal medicines. The program also includes practical training through fieldwork for plant identification, laboratory analysis, and clinical exposure, along with a strong emphasis on research and dissertation work. Overall, the course prepares students for careers in clinical practice, research, academics, and the Ayurvedic pharmaceutical industry.

• Must have completed BAMS (Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery) from a recognized university.
• Must have completed a 1-year compulsory internship (or complete it before the specified deadline).
• Must have valid registration with:

State Council of Indian Medicine (SCIM) /

Central/concerned AYUSH council.

• Must qualify AIAPGET (All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test).
• Must secure miniamum qualifying percentile in AIAPGET:

General: 50th percentile

SC/ST/OBC: 40th percentile

• No age limit for appearing in AIAPGET.
• The candidate should be eligible for AYUSH PG counselling (All India / State quota) after the qualifying exam.
