Pariyaram Medical College, Kannur

Academy of Medical Sciences, popularly known as Pariyaram Medical College is one of the biggest Super Specialty Medical Institution in India. The teaching Hospital of Pariyaram Medical College is a 1200 bedded hospital complex is supported by more than 20 specialties and eight super specialty departments manned by very competent experienced medical professionals.

Laboratory: All departments of ACME have their own departmental laboratories with latest equipments.

Central Library: Academy of Medical Science’s (ACME) Central Library is the best among the medical college libraries of Kerala, also equipped with an E- Library, 24 hours service with supporting staff, Spacious - 3500 sq. mt., Medical books-11,000 nos., etc.

Central Museum: Three Museums- One each for Anatomy, Forensic Medicine and Pathology. More than 350 Numbers of dissected specimens More than 150 Numbers of embryology specimens.

Lecture Hall & Auditorium: Nine well furnished and spacious Lecture Halls each with a seating capacity of 200. Seminar Halls for each department. A well furnished auditorium with a seating capacity of 1000.

Sports: Sports Complex is shared over an area of 36,000 sq. mtrs. With facilities for Football, Volleyball, Basketball, Tennis and Cricket at the same time in different venues.

Hostel Facility: Separate hostel facilities are available for male and female students in the campus.

Canteen: Campus has been provided with well maintained, hygienic canteen, which serves variety of menus including, Chinese, north Indian at subsidized rate.
