Observership in Glaucoma

Applicant should have done MS/DO/DNB in Ophthalmology.

The Glaucoma Observership program at Occura Eye Hospital offers in-depth training in the management of glaucoma, equipping participants with the skills to diagnose and treat various types of glaucoma effectively.

Program Highlights:

Academic Activities: Participate in grand rounds, case presentations, and clinical discussions led by experts in glaucoma management.

Clinical Training: Gain comprehensive insights into the evaluation, diagnosis, and medical and surgical management of glaucoma. Learn about primary and secondary glaucoma.

Surgical Exposure: Observing cataract surgeries (Phacoemulsification, Small Incision Cataract Surgery - SICS) and glaucoma surgeries (Trabeculectomy, Combined Surgeries like Phacoemulsification + Trabeculectomy, SICS + Trabeculectomy, and Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgeries - MIGS).

Pre and Post-operative Care: Learn the critical aspects of pre-operative evaluation and post-operative management specific to glaucoma patients.
