Obesity Medicine Fellowship

The Obesity Medicine Fellowship is a one-year clinical training program providing advanced subspecialty training in obesity medicine. Fellows develop expertise in the evaluation and management of obesity and related comorbidities in adult and pediatric patients, including care before and after bariatric and endobariatric procedures. Training is delivered through a multidisciplinary weight-management center, with exposure to endocrinology, primary care, pediatric endocrinology, bariatric surgery, gastroenterology, nutrition, behavioral health, and exercise physiology. Fellows also participate in didactic education, clinical conferences, teaching, and a mentored research or quality-improvement project.

1. Apply through the Obesity Medicine Fellowship Council (OMFC) application system.
2. Submit the required application and supporting documents.
3. Applications are reviewed by the fellowship program.
4. Eligible candidates are invited for an interview; interviews are conducted on a rolling basis.
5. Offers are extended according to the OMFC offer process.
6. Selected candidates join the one-year fellowship
