Non-Resident Fellowship in Infertility

• Hold an MBBS Degree from a University established by law in India, recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and/or declared as equivalent. OR
• A resident Indian participant with foreign medical qualification must appear, pass the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) conducted by the National Board of Examination (NBE), complete an internship, and register with a State Medical Council (SMC) per applicable regulations. AND
• Hold a DGO + Secondary DNB / Primary DNB / M.D. / M.S. (or its equivalent recognized degree) in Obstetrics & Gynaecology [Ob-Gyn; O&G; OG; Obs; Gynae & OB/GYN] from a university established by law in India, recognized by the NMC, or any other with a foreign medical qualification recognized by the NMC and/or declared as equivalent.

Our hybrid training program combines the convenience of virtual classrooms (online) with the value of face-to-face (in-person) learning experiences during observership (practical). Exclusively designed for Obstetrician-Gynecologists across the globe, the program enables participants become certified consultants in reproductive medicine, specializing in infertility treatments. The extensive training provided by our well-qualified faculty equips aspiring specialists with in-depth knowledge and practical exposure to advanced techniques and major procedures such as IUIs, IVF ovum pickups, and embryo transfers.

• A 12-day observation period focusing on infertility-related procedures, coupled with hands-on training in semen analysis and semen processing, conducted at one of the GarbhaGudi IVF Centre locations in Bengaluru, India.

• Mastering Egg Pickup (OPU):

1. Execute procedures more efficiently by improving ultrasound (US) probe focus on the ovaries, during Mastering Egg Pickup (OPU) training. Perform oocyte retrievals on OPU simulator, under supervision of a trained ART specialist.
2. Experience simulated practice through our hi-fidelity simulator for US-guided oocyte retrieval with 8-DOF (Eight Degrees of Freedom positional sensing) and 4-DOF haptics probe and needle, providing force feedback for the cervix, vaginal wall, ovary wall, and follicle piercing.
3. Effortlessly Impressive- Train on the world’s First European Society of Human Reproduction and Embryology [ESHRE] - guidelines compliant AI and VR device, and recommendations for good practice in US-guided Oocyte retrieval.
