N.K. Jabshetty Ayurvedic Medical College & PG Centre (NKJAMC), Bidar

N.K. Jabshetty Ayurvedic Medical College & Post Graduate Centre, Bidar is a premier centre for Ayurvedic Medical Education and Research. It was established by Sri Chidambara Shikshana Samsthe headed by Param Poojya Sri Sri Shiva Kumar Swamiji of Sri Siddharudh Math aimed to provide professional education & enrich the students and effective health care to the suffering human being of this region and to propagate the Indian System of Medicine- Ayurveda with the motto of “Health for All”. The undergraduate course of Ayurveda i.e. BAMS was successively started in the academic year 1991 – 92 with an intake of 60 students. The college is affiliated to Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore (Karnataka) from 1996. The college is recognized by the Central Council of Indian Medicine (CCIM) & Ministry of Ayush, New Delhi (the apex body for Ayurvedic education from Govt. of India) since 1991.
