Nalanda Medical College & Hospital (NMCH), Patna

The institute is a public medical college, established in year 1970, located in Patna city of Bihar. It is governed by Government of Bihar. It was founded by Dr. Vijay Narayain Singh (MS, FRCS), Dr. Madhusudan Das (MRCh) & Dr. Shailendra Kumar Sinha ,(MS, FRCS) along with Shri Krishna Kant Singh, the ex-education minister of Bihar state. The academic courses are affiliated with Aryabhatta Knowledge University, Patna.

Facilities:

Library: Nalanda Medical College has a well stocked Air conditioned library situated on the First floor of the administrative block .It has a large number of books and the latest collections of Medical Journals.

Laboratory: Nalanda Medical College has an up-to-date, fully equipped laboratory in the department of Biochemistry, Physiology, P.S.M. ,Microbiology, Pathology, Forensic Medicine & Pharmacology. The labs are well stocked all the latest instruments.

Hostel Facility: There are Two hostels are for boys and 1 hostel is for girls. These hostels have adequate capacity and are equipped with facilities like mess and proper security. 

Canteen: We also provide our students good food and hygiene environment at canteen. As f we know food is the elementary need of every human being. So we facilitate our students for good and healthier food.

Lecture Room: We provide our students best learning environment by providing good lecture theaters. Where the students can get the best of the study experiences throughout the their academic sessions.
