MSc in Pathology

Overview

The M.Sc. (Pathology) is a two‑year in-depth program offered by Amrita’s School of Allied Health Sciences in Kochi. It trains graduates in advanced diagnostic laboratory science, focusing on clinical and technical aspects of Pathology. Students gain expertise in areas such as histopathology, cytopathology, hematology, immunopathology, and molecular diagnostics. The program combines rigorous theoretical training, intensive hands-on lab work at the Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences (a NABL-accredited facility), and opportunities for research and quality‑assurance projects. Graduates are equipped to pursue roles in hospitals, clinical laboratories, research institutions, forensic labs, blood banks, and academia—with career paths ranging from technologists to lab managers or scientists .

Eligibility

Must have completed a 4‑year B.Sc. MLT (regular course)

Selection based on merit (UG academic performance) plus personal interview
