MS Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

1. Completed MBBS from a medical college recognised by NMC.
2. Completed or expected to complete the one‑year rotating internship as per NMC guidelines.
3. Qualified NEET‑PG exam with the required category‑wise percentile (e.g., ~50th percentile for General category with relaxed cutoffs for reserved categories).
4. Valid MBBS registration certificate (provisional or permanent) issued by the Medical Council of India/State Medical Council.

The MS – ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) programme at Trichy SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre is a three‑year postgraduate surgical course designed to build expert clinicians in diseases of the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck. The curriculum provides rigorous training in diagnostic evaluation, medical and surgical management of ENT conditions, and advanced procedures such as microsurgeries, endoscopic sinus and laryngeal surgeries, and paediatric ENT care. Residents are trained in anatomy, clinical evaluation, audiological assessments, and operative techniques under experienced faculty in a high‑volume surgical environment. This programme prepares graduates for careers in tertiary care hospitals, specialised ENT clinics, academic medicine, and research roles.

1. Qualify NEET‑PG: Appear and secure a valid score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET‑PG).
2. Counselling Registration: Register for postgraduate counselling through the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All‑India Quota and/or the State Counselling Authority for State Quota.
3. Choice Filling: Select MS – ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) at Trichy SRM Medical College during choice filling in counselling.
4. Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on NEET‑PG rank, category, and seat availability.
5. Document Verification: Report with original certificates — NEET‑PG scorecard, MBBS degree certificate, internship completion, registration proof, and other required documents for verification.
6. Fee Payment & Admission Confirmation: Pay the course and admission fees to confirm the seat.
7. Hostel Allotment (if opted): Apply for hostel accommodation after admission confirmation.
