MS Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

1. MBBS qualification recognised by the National Medical Commission
2. Completed compulsory rotating internship on or before the cutoff date
3. Valid NEET-PG score for the admission year
4. Medical registration certificate (permanent or provisional)
5. Must fulfil counselling authority and institutional requirements

The MS–ENT programme at Sri Manakula Vinayagar Medical College and Hospital offers comprehensive training in otorhinolaryngology with emphasis on both clinical and surgical skills. The three-year course exposes students to a wide spectrum of ENT conditions including otology, rhinology, laryngology, head and neck surgery, and emergency ENT care. Residents receive hands-on training in outpatient services, ward management, operating theatres, and diagnostic procedures under experienced faculty supervision. The associated teaching hospital provides adequate patient load, ensuring consistent clinical exposure. 1. Appear for and qualify NEET-PG conducted by the National Board of Examinations
2. Register for postgraduate medical counselling through the designated authority (CENTAC Puducherry / relevant counselling body)
3. Participate in choice filling and locking for MS – ENT
4. Seat allotment based on NEET-PG rank, category, and seat availability
5. Report for document verification with original certificates
6. Pay the prescribed fees to confirm admission
7. Join the course on the notified date and complete institutional formalities
