MS Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

1. MBBS degree recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC).
2. Permanent/Provisional Medical Registration with Medical Council/State Medical Council.
3. Valid NEET-PG score and inclusion in the All-India merit list.
4. Participation in the DGHS/MCC All-India or Deemed University counselling.
5. Meet any additional eligibility requirements set by the affiliating university and NMC.

The MS – Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) programme at Symbiosis Medical College for Women, Pune is part of the newly approved cadre of postgraduate medical courses commencing from the academic year 2025-26, following approval by the National Medical Commission. It aims to train competent ENT surgeons capable of handling a wide range of conditions related to the ear, nose, throat, head, and neck through rigorous theoretical learning and extensive clinical exposure. The programme integrates operative surgical training, diagnostic skills, and evidence-based practice at the Symbiosis University Hospital & Research Centre, which serves as the clinical training hub. Students learn to manage common and complex ENT conditions, perform surgical procedures, and participate in multidisciplinary patient care. The course also emphasizes research, community health initiatives, and ethical medical practice, preparing graduates for independent specialist practice or further academic pursuits.
