Overview

Al-Ameen Medical College, Bijapur is a private medical institution established in 1984. The campus covers a large area and includes a teaching hospital with substantial bed capacity — students reportedly get exposure to a high daily patient load, which supports rich clinical learning and training. The MS in ENT (Otorhinolaryngology) is offered as a full-time three-year postgraduate degree under RGUHS, intended to train qualified MBBS graduates to become specialist ENT surgeons/physicians. The course combines theory, clinical practices, and surgical training covering diseases and conditions of ear, nose, throat and head-neck regions — enabling students to manage ENT disorders, perform surgeries, handle emergencies and provide comprehensive ENT care. Given the hospital’s capacity and patient inflow, students are likely to encounter a wide variety of cases — beneficial for hands-on surgical/clinical training. The course aims to equip graduates with both diagnostic and therapeutic skills in ENT, preparing them for clinical practice, further specialization, or academic roles (depending on interest).
