MS Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

Overview

• GMERS Medical College & Civil Hospital, Sola is a well-reputed medical college under the Gujarat Medical Education & Research Society (GMERS), offering a robust MS ENT programme with 4 seats sanctioned. 
   
• Over three years, students receive training in both medical and surgical aspects of ENT including diagnostic methods (audiology, imaging, scope work), surgical procedures (ear surgeries, sinus, tonsil/adenoid, head & neck surgery), and emergency care (trauma, airway). The attached civil hospital provides a high volume of cases for hands-on experience. The academic requirements include seminars, case presentations, operative and non-operative rotations, thesis or research, and assessments under Gujarat University / NMC norms. The aim is to produce skilled ENT specialists capable of independent practice in clinical, surgical, and emergency settings.

Eligibility

• Must hold an MBBS degree or its recognised equivalent. 
• Completion of the one-year internship. 
• Must qualify NEET-PG examination. 
• Must satisfy the cut-off/rank requirements for the category (General / Reserved etc.) in state PG counselling.
