MS Otorhinolaryngology (ENT)

Overview

The MS in Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) program at Madhubani Medical College & Hospital equips residents with advanced clinical and surgical skills in the field of ear, nose, throat, and related structures. Training includes procedures such as tonsillectomy, adenoidectomy, septoplasty, functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), mastoidectomy, laryngoscopy, and tracheostomy. Residents gain hands-on experience in outpatient clinics, emergency care, and operating rooms. The course also emphasizes the management of head and neck cancers, facial trauma, and audiological disorders. Academic training is reinforced with seminars, journal clubs, case discussions, and research projects, ensuring a blend of practical expertise and theoretical knowledge. Graduates are prepared to serve as ENT surgeons in hospitals, academic institutions, and private practice.

Eligibility

• MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized institution.
• Completion of one-year rotatory internship.
• Permanent/provisional registration with NMC/State Medical Council.
• Must qualify NEET-PG examination conducted by NBE.
• Admission through BCECEB PG Medical Counseling (Bihar).
