It has state-of-the-art facilities for voice disorders, phonosurgery and laryngology. Micro ear surgeries and modern management of the throat have a special emphasis in this department. The Department has an Audiometry Lab where Speech Tests, Hearing Aid Trial, Language Therapy, Language Assessment, Hearing Assessment, Impedance Audiometry, etc are available for the needy patients. The Department is well-equipped to take care of all Ear, Nose and Throat emergencies and has teams available round the clock to do so. The Department also provides audiology, voice and speech therapy as allied services.

Eligibility
Candidates in possession of MBBS Degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 31 July.
