1. Completed MBBS from an institution recognised by the National Medical Commission.
2. Completed or expected to complete the rotating internship by the deadline specified by NEET‑PG/NMC.
3. Qualified NEET‑PG with the minimum required percentile (e.g., ~50th percentile for General category; relaxations for reserved categories).
4. Valid registration certificate (provisional or permanent) issued by the Medical Council of India or relevant State Medical Council.

The MS – Orthopaedics programme at Trichy SRM Medical College Hospital & Research Centre is a three‑year postgraduate surgical degree aimed at building highly skilled orthopaedic surgeons. The course integrates in‑depth theoretical study with extensive clinical and operative exposure across a broad range of musculoskeletal conditions including trauma, degenerative disorders, sports injuries, and infections. 1. Qualify NEET‑PG: Appear and secure a valid score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Postgraduate (NEET‑PG).
2. Register for Counselling: Register with the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All‑India Quota and/or the State Counselling Authority for the State Quota.
3. Choice Filling: During counselling, select MS – Orthopaedics at Trichy SRM Medical College.
4. Seat Allotment: Seats are allotted based on NEET‑PG rank, category, and availability.
5. Document Verification: Report with original documents (NEET‑PG scorecard, MBBS degree, internship completion, registration certificate, identity proof, etc.) for verification.
