MS Orthopedics

The MS Orthopaedics programme at Madha Medical College & Research Institute is designed to provide advanced surgical training in the management of musculoskeletal disorders. The department is supported by a well-equipped orthopaedic unit, operation theatres, trauma care services, and diagnostic facilities. Postgraduate students receive structured training in trauma surgery, joint disorders, spine care, paediatric orthopaedics, and rehabilitation medicine. Emphasis is placed on hands-on surgical exposure, emergency management, outpatient and inpatient care, and academic activities such as seminars, journal clubs, and case discussions. The curriculum follows National Medical Commission guidelines, ensuring competency-based learning. Residents are actively involved in clinical decision-making, research work, and dissertation submission. The programme aims to develop skilled orthopaedic surgeons with strong clinical judgment, ethical practice, and surgical proficiency.

1. Must possess a recognised MBBS degree
2. Must have completed 1-year compulsory internship on or before the date specified by counselling authority
3. Must be permanently registered with NMC / State Medical Council
4. Must have qualified NEET-PG in the relevant admission year
5. Must fulfil eligibility norms prescribed by DGHS / State Counselling Authority
