MS Orthopedics

1. MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized institution
2. Completion of one-year rotating internship
3. Permanent or provisional registration with State Medical Council / NMC
4. Qualified NEET-PG
5. Admission through centralized counseling (KEA or relevant authority)

The MS Orthopedics program at Navodaya Medical College, Raichur, is a three-year postgraduate surgical course designed to train competent orthopedic surgeons. The department provides extensive exposure to trauma management, fracture fixation, joint replacement surgeries, arthroscopy, pediatric orthopedics, spine surgery, and rehabilitation medicine. Students actively participate in outpatient clinics, inpatient care, operative sessions, emergency orthopedic management, and community health programs. The academic curriculum includes seminars, case presentations, journal clubs, and research projects as per NMC and RGUHS guidelines. Graduates are prepared for hospital-based practice, academic careers, and further subspecialty training in orthopedic surgery.

6. Commencement of academic session as per RGUHS schedule
