Overview
The M.S. Orthopaedics program at AIMSRC (custom format) is designed to provide comprehensive training in musculoskeletal trauma care, fracture management, joint reconstruction, pediatric orthopaedics, sports injuries, spine care, and arthroscopic procedures. Residents train in well-equipped operation theatres with C-arm imaging, arthroscopy setups, trauma instrumentation, and orthopaedic implants. Daily clinical rounds, casualty duties, emergency trauma care, and intensive operative exposure ensure hands-on learning. The program emphasizes evidence-based surgical practice, rehabilitation principles, and modern fixation techniques. Academic activities like journal clubs, seminars, surgical skill labs, and case presentations are integrated into training. Students are also encouraged to take part in research projects, national orthopaedic conferences, and workshops on advanced surgical technologies.
