The M.S. The curriculum integrates academic coursework with extensive clinical exposure in antenatal, intranatal, postnatal, gynaecological clinics, family planning services, and emergency obstetric care. Residents gain hands-on experience in managing normal and high-risk pregnancies, labour and delivery, caesarean sections, laparoscopic and open gynaecologic surgeries, reproductive endocrinology, and cancer screening services. The department functions 24×7 with dedicated labour wards, gynaecological surgical units, NICU support, and collaboration with anaesthesiology and critical care teams for comprehensive training. Structured academic activities such as seminars, case discussions, journal clubs, and research projects enhance clinical reasoning and surgical competence. Graduates are prepared for careers in hospitals, women’s health centres, academic practice, and specialised gynaecologic care settings.
