MS General Surgery

1. MBBS degree recognized by the National Medical Commission.
2. Completion of the compulsory internship on or before the specified cut-off date.
3. Valid NEET-PG score meeting required percentiles.
4. Registration with State Medical Council or NMC.
5. Participation in NEET-PG counselling (All India Quota / State / ESIC quota as applicable).

ESI-PGIMSR & ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Joka, Kolkata is a government medical institution under the Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India), established in 2013. Clinical training at the attached ESIC Model Hospital ensures exposure to diverse surgical cases—trauma, abdominal surgery, oncologic surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and critical care—bolstering the competencies needed for comprehensive surgical care.
