Overview
The MS in General Surgery program at MIMER Pune is a structured three-year postgraduate surgical training course designed to develop competent, ethical, and skilled surgeons. The program offers extensive hands-on exposure to elective and emergency surgical procedures through supervised operating theatre work, ward management, outpatient services, and trauma care. Residents are trained in preoperative evaluation, surgical decision-making, operative techniques, and postoperative management. Eligibility
- MBBS degree recognized by the National Medical Commission
- Completion of compulsory rotating internship by the prescribed cutoff date
- Valid NEET PG score for the admission year
- Registration with NMC/State Medical Council
- Admission through centralized PG medical counseling
- Fulfillment of category and reservation criteria as applicable
