Eligibility

  1. MBBS degree from a recognised institution.
  2. Completed or due to complete the 1-year compulsory internship by the specified date.
  3. Qualified NEET-PG exam with a valid score for the admission year.
  4. Registered or eligible for medical registration with the State Medical Council / NMC.
  5. Participation in PG counselling through MCC (All India quota) and/or KEA (Karnataka quota).

Admission Process:

  1. Qualify NEET-PG: Appear for and obtain a valid score in the NEET-PG national postgraduate medical entrance exam.
  2. Register for Counselling: Enrol in PG medical counselling with MCC (All India Quota) and/or KEA (Karnataka State quota).
  3. Document Verification: Submit MBBS degree, internship completion certificate, NEET-PG scorecard, medical registration certificate, identity documents, and category/domicile certificates.
  4. Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: Fill preferred colleges and the MS General Surgery choice during counselling.
  5. Seat Allotment: Attend seat allotment rounds and confirm the seat once allotted.
  6. Reporting & Fee Payment: Report to SIMSRH with original documents, pay applicable fees, and complete admission formalities.
  7. Orientation & Commencement: Complete registration and attend orientation before starting academic training.
