1. MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized institution
2. Completion of compulsory rotating internship on or before the cut-off date
3. Permanent or provisional registration with State Medical Council / NMC
4. Must have qualified NEET-PG
5. Admission through centralised counselling (KEA or designated authority)

The MS General Surgery program at Navodaya Medical College Hospital & Research Centre, Raichur, is a comprehensive three-year postgraduate surgical course designed to develop skilled and ethical surgeons. The department provides extensive exposure to outpatient services, inpatient wards, emergency surgery, and operation theaters. Postgraduate students are trained in elective and emergency surgical procedures, trauma care, laparoscopic surgery, and peri-operative patient management. The curriculum includes bedside teaching, ward rounds, operative assistance, seminars, case presentations, journal clubs, and dissertation research in accordance with NMC and RGUHS guidelines.
