    Parul Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (PIMSR), established in 2016, is part of Parul University. The MS (General Surgery) program is one of its core surgical postgraduate offerings. Eligibility

    • Must have an MBBS degree recognised by the medical regulatory authority.
    • Must have completed the one-year internship following MBBS. 
    • Must qualify in NEET PG with a valid score and meet the cut-off for MS General Surgery.

Admission Process:

    Qualify NEET PG — the candidate must appear for and obtain a valid score in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate courses. 

    State / Institutional Counselling — participate in the counselling process where seats are allotted based on merit, category (General / Reserved), and available seats. 

    Seat Allotment — based on your NEET PG rank, category, preference, and the number of MS General Surgery seats at PIMSR. 

    Document Verification — submit required documents (MBBS degree certificate, internship certificate, NEET PG scorecard, registration with medical council, identity proof, etc.).

    Fee Payment & Admission Formalities — upon allotment, pay the tuition/other fees, complete registration etc.

    Commencement of Course — start academic sessions, surgical rotations, and operative exposure as per schedule.
