The Department of surgery provides clinical and academic services with advanced expertise in various aspects of general surgery. All types of traditional surgical procedures along with advanced modern operative techniques such as laproscopic surgery, minimal innagire and micro scopic assoted surgeried are performed and taught by expert surgeons. The enriched faculty members of the surgery department are also involved in continuing medical education programs to keep the medical community updated in a variety of surgical problems.

Eligibility
Candidates in possession of MBBS Degree or Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized as per the provisions of the Indian Medical Council Act 1956 and possess permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or State Medical Council and have completed one year of internship or are likely to complete the internship on or before 31 July.
