Mohsine Millat Unani Medical College & Hospital (MMUMC), Raipur

The MMUMC was founded in 2005 as a specialized institution of Unani medicine and it is the only institution of the sort in the entire region. There are other medical colleges in Raipur and other cities of the state imparting education in allopathy, dentistry, pharmacy, Aurvedic and homeopathy systems of medicine but there has been none in the Unani system, which is an integral part of the Indian systems of medicine. There is an attached Hospital in the campus of the MMUMC in which the chronic diseases such as gout, asthma, epilepsy, Jaundice, blood pressure and other cardiac problems, chronic hepatitis, cholicystitis, paralysis, leucoderma leprosy, anemia, loss of appetite and weights, weakness, etc are cured. The MMUMC is recognized by the Central Council of Unani Medicine & Research.
