Mewar University (MU), Chittorgarh

Mewar University Chittorgarh is an autonomous body established in 2008, set up by the Government of Rajasthan. Mewar University, Chittorgarh was established under the Government of Rajasthan. The college is managed by the Mewar Education Society (MES). It is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC), All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) and Bar Council of India (BCI).

Facilities:

Hostel Facility:  Mewar University, Chittorgarh provides separate hostels to boys and girls. Students have to fill the application forms for hostels separately and rooms are allotted based on the availability. All the hostel rooms are provided with basic furniture and facilities. Mess facilities are also available for hostellers which serves good quality and hygienic food to students.

Canteen: The institute also has a canteen inside the campus which serves snacks, beverages and other food items to students and other members. All the food items are fresh and hygienic and students can get all snacks and food items at affordable prices.

Central Library: The central library of Mewar University, Chittorgarh is well equipped with a huge collection of books, CD-ROMs, databases, thesis, journals, project reports, micro documents etc. The library has a collection of over 64, 164 books. It also has a reading room where students and other visitors are allowed to read books.

Auditorium: The auditorium is well equipped with all modern audio and visual aids including LCD projectors and speakers. All the important meetings, seminars etc are conducted at the auditorium.

Laboratories: Mewar University, Chittorgarh has provided labs for different subjects for conducting practical experiments and students to do their project works. All the labs are well organised and equipped with necessary equipment. Lab technicians are also there to guide and help students.

Transportation Facility: Students and faculty members are also provided with transportation facilities. Students and other members of the Institute who want to avail the transport facilities must board buses on time as per the time schedule of different routes. Bus facilities are also provided by the institute for industrial visits and social service activities.

Sports: Various sports facilities are provided by Mewar University, Chittorgarh for the students. Various playgrounds for playing cricket, volleyball, kho-kho, kabaddi, track and field events. Other indoor games facilities like carrom, chess, badminton etc are also provided by the institute.
