The Melmaruvathur Adhiparasakthi Institute of Medical Sciences and Research was established in 2008. The hospital attached to the College has been running since 1986, providing health care services to surrounding villages for over 30 years. People belonging to the poor socio-economic group of the neighbouring 750 villages, including agricultural workers, are receiving various health services from this hospital. Affiliated to Tamilnadu Dr. M. G. R. Medical University.
