About
Medical College Kolkata was established on 28th January, 1835. Its purpose was to train native youths irrespective of caste and creed. The Vision of the College is To be distinguished as a leader among medical institutions by providing exemplary medical education, higher training, safe patient care, quality research, innovations through community collaboration and commitment to serve the underserved.
Facilities:
Canteen: There is a canteen provided inside the campus of Medical College Kolkata which serves snacks and tea to students and staff at affordable rates.
Hostel Facility: The college provides separate accommodation to boys and girls. Hostels are allotted to students based on the availability of rooms. All the hostels are provided with some basic amenities to cater to the needs of students. The hostels are also provided with mess facilities which serve quality and hygienic food to hostelers.
Library: The library of Medical College Kolkata was established in 1839 which has a huge collection of books and journals including national and international providing necessary information to students and staff.
