The MD – Respiratory Medicine program at KVG Medical College & Hospital, Sullia is a three-year postgraduate clinical training course designed to develop specialists in pulmonary and respiratory care. The program provides in-depth training in the evaluation and management of acute and chronic respiratory diseases, pulmonary infections, and respiratory failure.

Residents gain hands-on experience in outpatient clinics, inpatient wards, intensive care units, and emergency services, with exposure to pulmonary function testing, bronchoscopy, imaging interpretation, and ventilatory support. Special emphasis is placed on tuberculosis management, asthma and COPD care, interstitial lung diseases, and critical respiratory care.

6. Report to KVG Medical College & Hospital, Sullia with allotment letter
7. Complete admission formalities, fee payment, and medical examination
8. Commence MD – Respiratory Medicine residency as per academic calendar
