MD Respiratory Medicine

• Must hold an MBBS degree from an NMC-recognised college.
• Must have completed compulsory rotating internship.
• Must qualify in the NEET-PG exam.
• Must meet the required percentile/rank for NEET-PG counselling as per category (General/Reserved).

Adesh Medical College & Hospital offers the MD Respiratory Medicine programme with 2 seats allocated per year. The programme spans three years, during which residents receive comprehensive training in diagnosing and managing pulmonary diseases, both in outpatient and inpatient settings. The Department of Respiratory Medicine has facilities for lung function testing, chest imaging, bronchoscopy, and other diagnostic procedures. Students also learn critical care aspects related to respiratory failure, ventilator management, and emergent respiratory conditions. The curriculum is approved by NMC and the affiliating university, ensuring that training meets regulatory standards.

1. Complete MBBS + Internship, ensure registration.
2. Appear for the NEET-PG exam and obtain a score.
3. Check the cutoff/percentile required for Respiratory Medicine for your category.
4. Participate in state or national PG counselling for seat allotment (for Haryana, through DMER, etc.).
5. After seat allotment, complete document verification (MBBS degree certificate, internship completion, medical registration, NEET-PG scor,e etc.).
6. Pay the required fees (tuition + hostel + admission) to confirm the seat.
7. Join the course, undergo orientation and begin the academic schedule and clinical postings in the Respiratory Medicine department.
