MD Radiodiagnosis

1. MBBS degree from an NMC-recognised medical college.
2. Completion of the one‑year compulsory internship prior to joining the course.
3. Valid NEET‑PG qualification with rank meeting counselling cutoffs for the year.
4. Registration (permanent or provisional) with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or respective State Medical Council before starting the program.

The MD – Radio Diagnosis program at ICARE Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Haldia, is a three‑year postgraduate medical degree designed to develop specialists in medical imaging and diagnostic radiology. The curriculum includes advanced training in interpretation and correlation of imaging modalities such as X‑rays, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to identify diseases and abnormalities across body systems. Students gain practical skills in performing and evaluating imaging studies, understanding imaging physics and safety, and applying diagnostic reasoning to support patient care. 1. Qualify NEET‑PG: Candidates must appear in and qualify the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET‑PG).
2. Register for Counselling: Register for the designated counselling authority (e.g., West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) or central/state PG counselling).
3. Choice Filling & Seat Allotment: Enter preferred colleges and specialities; seats are allotted based on NEET‑PG rank, category, and availability.
4. Document Verification: Attend document verification with NEET‑PG scorecard, MBBS degree, internship completion certificate, identity proof, and category documents.
5. Fee Payment & Reporting: Pay the required fees and report to the ICARE Institute of Medical Sciences and Research by the specified date to finalize admission formalities.
