MD Radiodiagnosis

1. MBBS degree from an NMC-recognised medical college.
2. Completion of the one‑year compulsory internship prior to joining the course.
3. Valid NEET‑PG qualification with rank meeting counselling cutoffs for the year.
4. Registration (permanent or provisional) with the National Medical Commission (NMC) or respective State Medical Council before starting the program.

The MD – Radio Diagnosis program at ICARE Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Haldia, is a three‑year postgraduate medical degree designed to develop specialists in medical imaging and diagnostic radiology. The curriculum includes advanced training in interpretation and correlation of imaging modalities such as X‑rays, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) to identify diseases and abnormalities across body systems. Students gain practical skills in performing and evaluating imaging studies, understanding imaging physics and safety, and applying diagnostic reasoning to support patient care.
