Overview
MD – Radio Diagnosis is a three-year postgraduate medical programme designed to train doctors in the field of medical imaging and diagnostic techniques. Candidates learn to perform, interpret, and report a variety of imaging studies — including X-rays, ultrasound, CT scans, MRI, and fluoroscopic procedures — in coordination with clinical departments. The programme combines didactic lectures, practical hands-on training, case discussions, and rotations in subspecialties such as neuroimaging, vascular imaging, and interventional radiology. Graduates are equipped to work as radiologists in hospitals, imaging centers, and academic institutions, contributing to accurate diagnosis and patient-care pathways. Admission is based on performance in the national entrance test (NEET-PG), and training prepares students for board/licensing requirements, clinical research, and specialist practice.
