MD Radiodiagnosis

1. Recognized MBBS degree as per the National Medical Commission (NMC) regulations.
2. Completion of compulsory internship on or before the deadline specified in counselling notifications.
3. Valid NEET PG qualifying score with required percentile (50th for general, relaxed for reserved categories as per NMC norms).
4. Permanent or provisional medical registration certificate from the NMC or State Medical Council.

The MD in Radiodiagnosis at Dr. Moopen’s Medical College is a three-year postgraduate degree that trains physicians in diagnostic imaging techniques and interpretation. The course is affiliated with Kerala University of Health Sciences (KUHS) and approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). During the program, residents gain hands-on training in multiple imaging modalities including digital radiography, ultrasound, CT, MRI, fluoroscopy, mammography, and Doppler studies within the college’s modern radiology department. The curriculum encompasses clinical rotations in diagnostic imaging, interventional procedures, image-guided biopsies, and radiological physics, complemented by academic activities such as seminars, journal clubs, and case discussions. Graduates are equipped to work in hospitals, diagnostic centers, and academic institutions, providing accurate imaging diagnoses and participating in multidisciplinary clinical care teams.

Qualify NEET-PG:

• Register and appear for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for Postgraduates (NEET-PG) in the admission year.

Register for Counselling:

• Enroll in PG counselling conducted by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) for All India Quota seats and/or Kerala State PG counselling for state quota seats.

Choice Filling & Allotment:

• Log in to the counselling portal, fill “MD Radiodiagnosis, Dr. Moopen’s Medical College” in preferences, and lock choices.

• Seats are allotted on the basis of NEET-PG rank, reservation category, and choices.

Document Verification:

• Attend document verification with original certificates (MBBS qualification, internship completion, NEET-PG scorecard, registration certificate, and other required documents).

Fee Payment & Reporting:

• Pay the prescribed fees per the allotment letter and report to Dr. Moopen’s Medical College by the deadline for academic induction.
