Overview
The M.D. Radio-Diagnosis program at Khaja Bandanawaz University, Kalaburagi is a three-year postgraduate clinical residency conducted in accordance with NMC postgraduate medical education regulations. The program provides comprehensive training in diagnostic radiology, including conventional radiography, fluoroscopy, ultrasonography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Residents gain hands-on exposure to cross-sectional imaging, emergency radiology, musculoskeletal, neuro, thoracic, abdominal, and obstetric imaging, along with basics of interventional radiology. Academic training includes case reporting, imaging conferences, seminars, journal clubs, quality audits, radiation safety practices, and mandatory dissertation research. Graduates are well prepared for independent radiology practice, fellowship training, academic roles, and advanced imaging subspecialties.

Eligibility
- MBBS degree recognised by NMC
- Completion of one-year compulsory rotating internship on or before the prescribed cut-off date
- Qualified NEET-PG examination
- Permanent/Provisional registration with NMC / State Medical Council
- Admission through centralised counselling as per State / All-India quota norms
