MD Radiodiagnosis

Overview

Nootan Medical College & Research Centre in Visnagar (affiliated to Sankalchand Patel University) offers MD Radio-Diagnosis as a three-year full-time postgraduate programme. The course aims to train doctors in diagnostic imaging, including interpreting radiographs, CT scans, MRI images, ultrasounds, and other modalities. Students also learn interventional imaging techniques and how to work closely with clinical teams to correlate imaging findings with patient symptoms and clinical data. The college has a modern hospital (Nootan General Hospital) with imaging facilities (CT, USG, etc.) for hands-on training. There is also academic work: seminars, case presentations, research/thesis component, regular assessments. The infrastructure and faculty support aim at preparing graduates to become competent diagnostic radiologists.

Eligibility

Must have an MBBS degree from a college/university recognized by NMC. 

Must have completed the 1-year compulsory rotating internship.

Valid registration with the National Medical Commission (or State Medical Council). 

Must qualify in NEET-PG exam.
