The MD in Radio-Diagnosis programme is designed to train doctors in diagnostic imaging and radiology over a span of 3 years. The Radio-Diagnosis department has a sanctioned intake of 3 seats at GMERS Sola.
During the course, students are exposed to all major imaging modalities — such as conventional radiography (X-ray), ultrasound, CT, MRI — along with image interpretation, radiological physics, radiation safety, and diagnostic reporting. The curriculum includes lectures, case presentations, seminars, hands-on training, rotations in various radiology sub-areas, and likely thesis / research work.
