MD Radiodiagnosis

Overview

Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College, Raipur is a well-established government medical college that offers strong clinical exposure, especially in imaging and diagnostic modalities, via its Department of Radiodiagnosis. The department has modern infrastructure: 128-slice CT scanner, 3 Tesla MRI, angiography & DSA, mammography, ultrasound, etc. Students in the MD Radio Diagnosis program are trained in both routine imaging and advanced techniques, including interventional procedures. There is ample patient inflow, allowing exposure to diverse radiological cases—trauma, emergency imaging, elective diagnostics, and imaging-guided interventions. Research and thesis work are part of the curriculum, with opportunities to publish and participate in seminars/CME. The training prepares graduates to work in hospitals (public and private) and imaging centers, capable of interpreting diagnostic images, managing imaging departments, and conducting radiological interventions.

Eligibility

• Must have completed MBBS (or equivalent) from a recognized institution. 
• Must complete or be completing one-year internship by the given deadline (often by 31st March of the admission year)
• Must possess registration (permanent or provisional) with NMC or State Medical Council.
• Must qualify NEET PG exam and meet minimum required percentile / cutoff as per category (General / OBC / SC / ST / PWD)
