MD Radiodiagnosis

1. MBBS degree recognised by NMC.
2. Completed compulsory rotating internship (1 year).
3. Permanent/Provisional registration with any State Medical Council.
4. Qualified NEET-PG with valid percentile for counselling participation.
5. Eligibility certificate from RGUHS prior to admission.

The M.D. (Radiodiagnosis) program at Kanachur Institute of Medical Sciences (KIMS), Mangalore, is a three-year postgraduate medical degree designed to train physicians in diagnostic imaging and radiologic interpretation. Under the guidance of dedicated faculty, residents rotate through multiple imaging modalities including ultrasound, X-ray, CT, and MRI, gaining hands-on experience in both routine and complex cases. The curriculum aligns with NMC standards and RGUHS guidelines, combining theoretical coursework, clinical case discussions, imaging interpretation sessions, and regular academic assessments. The program also encourages participation in departmental research, seminars, and conferences, preparing graduates for careers in clinical radiology, academic practice, and diagnostic decision-making.

1. Qualify NEET-PG as conducted by the National Board of Examinations.
2. Register for counselling through the appropriate authority (Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) / MCC for All-India Quota).
3. Complete choice filling/locking with preference for MD Radiodiagnosis at KIMS.
4. Seat allotment based on rank, quota, and availability.
5. Report to the institute with the allotment letter and the required documents for verification.
6. Complete admission formalities and fee payment, and register with RGUHS.
