Amala Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Thrissur, established in 2002, is a premier Christian minority medical institution affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences and recognised by the National Medical Commission. The MD Radiotherapy program at AIMS is a comprehensive three-year postgraduate course offered through its advanced oncology services. The department provides training in external beam radiotherapy, brachytherapy, chemotherapy coordination, palliative care, and cancer prevention. Residents are actively involved in tumour boards, multidisciplinary cancer management, academic seminars, research work, and patient-centred care. With access to modern radiotherapy equipment and a high patient load, the program aims to develop competent radiation oncologists capable of delivering ethical, evidence-based cancer treatment in tertiary care and academic settings.

Eligibility
- MBBS degree recognised by NMC
- Completed compulsory rotating internship
- Valid NEET-PG score for the admission year
- Registration with NMC or State Medical Council
- Admission through Kerala State (CEE) or All India (MCC) counselling
