Amala Institute of Medical Sciences (AIMS), Thrissur, established in 2002, is a premier Christian minority medical institution affiliated with the Kerala University of Health Sciences and recognised by the National Medical Commission. The MD Radiotherapy program at AIMS is a comprehensive three-year postgraduate course offered through its advanced oncology services. The department provides training in external beam radiotherapy, brachytherapy, chemotherapy coordination, palliative care, and cancer prevention. Residents are actively involved in tumour boards, multidisciplinary cancer management, academic seminars, research work, and patient-centred care.
