MD Radio Therapy

Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru Memorial Medical College (JNMC), Raipur is one of the major medical institutions in Chhattisgarh, with a robust Radiotherapy / Radiation Oncology department, serving as a Regional Cancer Centre. The department is equipped with modern radiotherapy technologies and infrastructure to treat cancer patients using both external beam and internal techniques. Students in MD Radiotherapy receive training in radiation physics, radiobiology, treatment planning, radiation safety, and patient management of malignant disorders. Clinical exposure includes various cancer cases, palliative care, side-effect management, and interdisciplinary collaboration (surgery, medical oncology, pathology, imaging). • MBBS degree from a recognized medical college.
• Completion of the one-year internship (or to be completed by cutoff date) after MBBS.
• Registration (permanent or provisional) with NMC or state medical council.
• Must qualify in NEET PG exam in the admission year, achieving the required percentile/cutoff for category (General / OBC / SC / ST / etc.).
