The MD Psychiatry program at AIIMS Raebareli is a structured three-year postgraduate clinical training designed to produce competent psychiatrists capable of managing a wide range of mental health disorders. The curriculum provides extensive exposure to adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, substance use disorders, consultation-liaison psychiatry, and community mental health. Residents receive hands-on training in outpatient and inpatient psychiatric services, emergency psychiatry, psychotherapy, and psychopharmacology. Academic training includes seminars, case presentations, journal clubs, interdisciplinary teaching, and mandatory research leading to a dissertation. The program emphasises ethical practice, evidence-based treatment, and holistic mental healthcare, preparing graduates for clinical, academic, and research careers.

5. Select AIIMS Raebareli – MD Psychiatry during choice filling
6. Seat allotment based on rank, category, and preferences
7. Report to AIIMS Raebareli for document verification and medical examination
8. Complete admission formalities and begin residency
