1. MBBS degree from an NMC-recognized institution

The M.D. (Psychiatry) programme at Bhaarath Medical College & Hospital is a structured three-year postgraduate course that prepares medical graduates to become specialist psychiatrists. The curriculum includes in-depth study of psychopathology, psychiatric assessment, psychopharmacology, psychotherapy principles, and the management of mental health conditions across diverse patient groups. Training involves clinical rotations in inpatient and outpatient psychiatric units, exposure to emergency psychiatry, community psychiatry initiatives, consultation-liaison services, and de-addiction programmes. 1. NEET-PG Examination: Appear and secure a valid NEET-PG score.
2. Counselling Registration: Register online for postgraduate counselling via the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) and/or State counselling authority for Tamil Nadu quota seats.
3. Choice Filling: Select M.D. (Psychiatry) at Bhaarath Medical College during preference submission.
4. Seat Allotment: Participate in scheduled counselling rounds and obtain seat allotment based on rank and preferences.
5. Document Verification: Complete verification of original certificates as per counselling guidelines.
6. Reporting: Report to the college within the stipulated timeframe with fees and documents.
7. Commencement: Begin academic sessions as per institute schedule.
