Overview

• The Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree is a professional doctoral degree awarded to individuals who have completed the necessary medical education and training required to practice medicine. The MD degree is one of the primary degrees for physicians, and it is recognized in many countries around the world.
• The MD curriculum covers a broad range of medical sciences and clinical skills. It includes basic sciences such as anatomy, physiology, biochemistry, pharmacology, and pathology, as well as clinical rotations in various medical specialties.
• Clinical rotations are a significant component of MD programs. During these rotations, medical students gain hands-on experience in different medical specialties, working directly with patients under the supervision of experienced physicians.
• The MD degree signifies that an individual is qualified to diagnose and treat medical conditions, as well as establish a doctor-patient relationship, provide medical advice, and contribute to the overall well-being of patients.

Eligibility

• Pass in MBBS degree from an Institution / University recognized by National Medical Commission (NMC)
• Internship completion and should have obtained permanent registration with the State Medical Council.
• Candidates holding foreign degree must be registered practitioners in the Country from where they have obtained their degree and MUST obtain a temporary registration certificate from National Medical Commission (NMC).
