MD Physiology

Overview

Parul Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (PIMSR), part of Parul University in Vadodara, offers the MD Physiology program, a three‐year postgraduate para-clinical speciality. The objective is to develop advanced knowledge of physiology, facilitating teaching and research in medical education. Students are trained in systems physiology, comparative physiology, applied physiology, and laboratory techniques. The program emphasizes both theoretical classes and practical laboratory work to understand body functions in health and disease. Graduates are well prepared for academic roles in medical colleges, research positions, and contribution to fields such as pharmacology, neurophysiology, clinical physiology, etc. The institute provides experienced faculty, adequate lab facilities, anatomical/physiology departments, and access to medical research environment. 

Eligibility

• Must have an MBBS degree recognized by the relevant regulatory body. 
• Must have completed the compulsory rotating internship. 
• Must qualify in NEET PG exam. Admissions to MD Physiology are through NEET PG.
