MD Pharmacology

1. MBBS qualification recognized by the National Medical Commission
2. Completion of CRRI on or before the stipulated cutoff date
3. Permanent or provisional registration with State Medical Council / NMC
4. Qualification in NEET-PG in the relevant admission year
5. Eligibility as per Government, Management, or NRI quota norms

The MD Pharmacology program at Annapoorna Medical College and Hospital, Salem, is designed to train postgraduate students in both theoretical and applied aspects of pharmacological sciences. The curriculum covers general and systemic pharmacology, clinical pharmacology, toxicology, and pharmacovigilance. Students are trained in rational drug use, prescription auditing, and adverse drug reaction monitoring. Active involvement in undergraduate teaching, seminars, and journal clubs enhances academic development. 2. Register for Tamil Nadu State PG Medical Counselling or MCC counselling, as applicable
3. Select Annapoorna Medical College and Hospital, Salem – MD Pharmacology during choice filling
4. Seat allotment based on NEET-PG rank, category, and seat availability
5. Report to the college for document verification
6. Complete fee payment and admission formalities
7. Join the course as per the university academic calendar
