Overview

    The Department of Pharmacology at Father Muller Medical College plays a critical role in promoting rational and safe use of medicines across clinical departments. The department hosts an ADR Monitoring Centre under the Pharmacovigilance Programme of India (PvPI), offering real-world exposure to drug safety reporting. Academic activities include seminars, journal clubs, problem-based learning, and interdisciplinary interactions. Emphasis is placed on research methodology, ethics, and evidence-based prescribing, preparing graduates for careers in academics, clinical research, regulatory affairs, and the pharmaceutical industry.

Eligibility

    1. MBBS degree from an NMC-recognised medical college.
    2. Completion of 12-month compulsory rotatory internship by the prescribed cutoff date.
    3. Permanent/Provisional registration with NMC or State Medical Council.
    4. Qualification in NEET-PG examination.
    5. Admission through KEA PG Medical Counselling (Karnataka Examination Authority).

    3. Register for KEA PG Medical Counselling.
    4. Complete online document upload and verification.

    6. Choose Father Muller Medical College – MD Pharmacology during option entry.
    7. Download the seat allotment letter if allotted.
    8. Report to the institute with original documents and complete fee payment.
